Lucas oil products was founded by Forest Lucas and his wife Charlotte in 1989.
Prior to that he and Charlotte were the owners of an American wide long haul trucking fleet. Given their experience in the trucking industry Forest and Charlotte started Lucas Oil Products Inc. with the simple philosophy of producing the best line of lubricants and additives available.
While initially catering for the trucking industry Lucas Oil quickly established itself within the industrial and agricultural markets and have been directly involved in the American racing industry through multiple vehicle sponsorships and as a racing events promoter.
The end result of this involvement has been the introduction of a line of high performance engine oils, oil stabilisers and gear oils. These products have proven themselves on NASCAR, NHRA, IHRA and ATPA tracks across America. The Lucas Oil Product line is constantly evolving to keep pace of the lubrication requirements of the latest automotive offerings and state of the art racing engine technology.
The wealth of experience and technology that makes Lucas Oil so popular within these markets is available in New Zealand since being introduced in 2004.
